There's a ferris wheel
you walk through ... a carousel to ride ... a magic Theater of
Food ... a Fun House where you glimpse an easy-living future
... a film starring some precocious puppets. There's one of the
finest restaurants at the World's Fair, or anywhere. There's
something fascinating for everyone at the Festival of Gas
Pavilion.
It's one of the largest,
liveliest pavilions in the whole lavish Industrial Area. It is
excitingly contemporary in design, with a spacious, airy garden
feeling indoors and outdoors. Streams twist and curve, fountains
splash, sculpture rises from the waters, islands of bright flowers
bloom against the brilliant white of the structure. The setting
is joyous. Visitors catch a matching mood of fun-filled expectation.
And the marvels of gas -- the energy of the future make
education as exciting as recreation.

There is entertainment
for the whole family at the Festival of Gas. Admission is free, of course.

It's up the moving ramp
and onto the carpeted carousel for a bird's-eye view of the entire
Festival of Gas.
Twelve feet above the main
floor you preview all the attractions and can choose those to
see leisurely. Exhibits are pointed out by the recorded tour
guide as you glide past. Recognize the voice? It's Jinx Falkenburg
telling about .. The Theater of Food: Plan to catch the
next performance of pure magic and menu magic. Industry: You
probably never realized how many everyday products couldn't be
made without gas. Stop here and be surprised. The Fun House
of the Future: Delightful films surround you -- on the walls
and ceiling -- predicting the future. Appliances of the future
come out of the walls, down from the ceiling. Garden of the
Giants: See the total Energy Package: it's the gas industry's
useful giant of the future.
The five-minute ride is
over. Like to go 'round again? Go ahead -- it is fun.
