Fountains Day
The Fountain of the Planets by Night (bottom) (Courtesy of Bradd Schiffman) These photos look toward the Main Mall and Unisphere from the entrance to the Bell System Pavilion at the head of the Pool of Industry. Note the street lighting that surrounds the pool. These tall thin luminaries were designed to complement the heights of the water sprays of the Fountain.
